-- Get to know your food labels
Reading the Nutrition Facts panel can help you choose foods and drinks to meet your nutrient needs.

-- Fix healthy snacks
Healthy snacks can sustain your energy levels between meals, especially when they include a combination of foods. Choose from two or more of the MyPlate food groups: grains, fruits, vegetables, and protein. Try making homemade "Lunchables" with cubes of cheese with pepperoni and crackers, raw vegetables with hummus or Greek yogurt dip, or fruit with some nut butter.

-- Drink more water
Quench your thirst with water instead of drinks with lots of added sugar. For some added flavor, add frozen berries or lemon slices in lieu of ice cubes. Sometimes when you think you are hungry, you may actually be thirsty! Try drinking a glass of water and wait a half hour. If you are still hungry, then eat something.
