The BMJ is one of the oldest medical journals in the world, with an initial publication date of 1840. Today, the journal covers research, education, current events, and major issues in the medical field. The BMJ is published in print several times a month and new articles are posted online on weekdays. The BMJ organization also publishes more than 70 medical and allied science titles.
