SPINE POETRY
spine poetry (n): poems formed by stacking books so that their titles form something resembling a poem

You don't need to even have a pen and piece of paper - just your local library!
Visit the DHSS Library or your closest public library and work on your inner poet, just using the spine labels of books! Working on poetry can help practice mindfulness, allows you to assess and process your feelings, and can be very cathartic in practice. No stack is too big or too small when you are struck by the power of the muse! Just grab books that speak to you and pile them in whatever order you like!

EXISTING: a spine poem

Stay with me
Don't go where I can't follow
Left to our own devices
The infinite wait
Monsters
on their own
swallow me whole
The price we pay:
surviving the survival,
seeking refuge
on death and dying,
In-between days
What should I do with my life?
