“Unraveling Intergenerational Trauma: Building Resilience Towards Collective Well-Being”
Register here.
Register here.Emerging theories of intergenerational trauma have shown biological evidence for the transmission of trauma from one generation to the subsequent generation. How does intergenerational trauma affect individuals and to what extent does it impact someone’s well-being? Through an introduction to key theorist and their studies, this session will explore the origins and transmission of trauma across generations. As we acknowledge the magnitude of this phenomenon as well as current and ongoing research, we will focus on cultivating resilience strategies as a path towards breaking the cycle of intergenerational trauma and moving communities towards collective well-being.
