Delaware Libraries Project Planning FY2024: Public Services

Delaware Library public services include staff and administrators who assist and work with Delaware library patrons and students, from reference, services, and circulation to programs and events.

The below is a list of LibGuides that have either been created for Delaware library staff or might be particularly helpful to staff. There are many other LibGuides on a wide range of topics designed to help staff assist patrons with their information needs. Current and past monthly reports are found on the Ask a Librarian Delaware staff support site.  These reports include:

• Usage (number of unique questions asked by patrons) by library
• Running Reports
• Turnaround Time (showing how long it has taken staff to respond to patron questions, by library)
• Dewey Delaware (self-reported analytics grouping types of questions asked online by Dewey)
• Contact Method Used (how patrons contacted us)
• Answerer Statistics
