Wordpress Library Sites

Do you have a wordpress site hosted by DDL Design? If so, and you want to add a user, reach out to Christine at chrisitne.karpovage@delaware.gov or design@lib.de.us with the persons email & Library they will need to be added to.

Anyone no longer an admin, reach out to have them removed from your website.

New to your site, set up a training with Christine.

How can I create or edit captions for videos?

  • Upload the video to YouTube privately or use a service like OtterAI, download the automated transcript, and edit it to correct errors.

Consortium Login - Troubleshooting

Make sure you are using Chrome, Firefox Edge or Safari...
How to Login Video

Do not attempt too many times... after two (2) tries... PAUSE... time to double check login info.

To clear and try again:

  • Clear the cache and cookies, shut the browser down, open it, clear again (especially with Chrome) then TYPE the URL Fresh. https://my.delaware.gov
  • Verify you are TYPING the correct information. Do not use old saved passwords. Use the (eye) icon to see what you are typing.
  • Also when typing the Security Question answer, make sure you have the Space between Lima Beans.

Once all is cleared, follow the directions below:

  • Go to https://my.delaware.gov
  • In the email field use: design@lib.de.us
  • In the password use: M@rketing2024
  • The MFA Question Answer is: Lima Beans
  • Once signed in, open a new A NEW TAB next to delaware.gov tab in the same browser
  • Put the url for the consortium https://consortium.lib.de.us or consortium.lib.de.us in URL spot
  • Sign-in the Wordpess Window as usual with your library’s username & password.

Need Materials created by the Design Department? Contact us

Need to adjust the time on your flyer? We will usually add a "tag" space, a place for you to edit.

  • Acrobat Professional will allow you to edit the text in the PDF. Learn how.
  • If you want us to insert your logo, please contact us at the Design Department.

The Delaware Division of Libraries Design Department supports our consortium of libraries with many statewide programs loaded to the Consortium site. Can't find it...contact us with any questions. We are happy to help!

Please allow 24/48 hours for response (next business day). When submitting a request, include:

  • What do you need?
    Looking for a certain flyer, need a flyer, have large event you need graphics help with for social media?
  • Specific size needed?
    Let us know this size and file type, this is helpful when creating items. Is it for social media? Is it for a printer?
  • Give us the content/details, we will take care of the rest!
    We can assist with copy too… just give us what you got so far.
  • What is it for?
    Topic, program, other details. Dates & Time of event(s)
    Example: It has to be health focused for upcoming flu shot clinics
  • Do you need to meet with us to go over a project?
  • When do you need it by?
  • Quantity?
    How many and is it something we can print for you or do we need to out source? For example, Summer reading certificates, 100 on card stock, no problem... 1500 on card stock - need to out source.
  • Any Logos needed?
    Example: DDL, Friends logo, etc.
  • Color:
    Is it full color or do you need it black and white?
  • Anything else we need to know?
    Misc important information, is it for all libraries to share? Do we need to post on social media?
  • Include your contact information
    In case we have questions - Contact Name, email, and library at the least.

That’s it!

Please Note: Due dates will be set based upon amount of work/what is needed and will be discussed. For anything requiring outside vendors to print materials there is additional time needed for quotes, printing and delivery.

Summer Reading On Consortium

DDL Design provides Summer Reading Program materials that adhere to the copyright standards from CSLP. This is to ensure that proper logos, language, fonts, etc are being used statewide. These materials are usually ready by end of March of each year.

The Summer reading link on Consortium: consortium.lib.de.us/slrp-materials

You will find:

  • Reading logs
  • Certificates with governor signature, NCC version, logo insert area, and they are fillable & can be printed. Plus, Beanstack and versions in Spanish.
  • Flyers for Sign up and to announce the program
  • Social media – to announce the program, promote summer reading, and performer that is associated with the statewide program. If you need additional or custom, please reach out to DDL Design.
  • Website graphics (Sliders, headers, Beanstack, LibGuide, LibCal).
  • Performer flyers and social to match the program & can be edited to add your library.
  • Schedule for performer
  • Webpages to link to on DelawareLibraries.org that have program information, performer and links to sign up online via Beanstack
