Gas Stoves ,Climate & Health- A Climate Conversation, Apr 24, 2023
Gas Stoves we delightfully use in our kitchen are a health hazard and a climate problem as well. A lot of misinformation has been floating and a lot of debate going on about gas stoves. When it comes to public health and climate science alike, long-term, evidence-based scientific research is the gold standard to help sort fact from fiction. New peer-reviewed research authored by Rocky Mountain Institute estimated that nearly 13 percent of childhood asthma cases in the United States can be linked to having a gas stove in the home. Climate solutions are health solutions! When we electrify our homes and get rid of ‘fossil gas’ we make our homes healthier and our environment cleaner.
