In December 2021, the Lewes Historical Society opened an exhibition honoring Jacob Jones and his naval career in the Ryves Holt House Museum. That is the house in which Jacob Jones spent his boyhood during the Revolutionary War. This book supplements the exhibition by imagining what that boyhood might have been like. It is intended for young readers in the hope that they will realize, like Jacob Jones, that their dreams can come true. Perhaps they will also learn some Delaware history as well.
