LGBTQ+: Trans and Non-Binary Specific

We are committed to respecting the identity of each person who comes to us, and providing quality, compassionate care through a holistic approach that includes services to support physical, mental and emotional health. From a patient’s very first contact with our intake team, our goal is to make them welcomed and safe.

Medical services for trans individuals include:

• Primary medical care
• HIV medical care
• Hormone therapy and monitoring
• Family planning and pregnancy-related services
• On-site pharmacy
• Breast and chest health care
• Cervical cancer screening for trans men
• Pediatric & Adolescent Comprehensive Transgender Services (P.A.C.T.S.)
• Social support/community activities for trans youth and their families
• Referrals to trans-friendly providers and community resources
• Social Workers on staff to offer support and navigate services

We provide an array of services to help youth, families, organizations and institutions understand and address concepts of Gender identity and Gender expression, including how societal, cultural, organizational and community definitions of gender can be detrimental to any young person that does not fit neatly into these categories.

We are a group of trans caregivers. Many of us are post-op ourselves.
Together, we have a broad history of direct caregiving experience to suit your needs.
We have all cared for other transpeople during their surgery recovery- and we know how important this time is for each of us.
We believe in our community. We believe in caring for each other.
And we know that no one else understands the trans experience like another transperson.

Point of Pride works to support trans youth and adults who otherwise lack access through gender-affirming programs that empower them to live more authentically.
