Assistance for Spouses of Deployed or Wounded Warriors

If you are facing a difficult time while your spouse is deployed or because of an injury, consider looking for help through one of these organizations:

Hearts of Valor – When a soldier is wounded in the line of duty, the spouse and family members back home are left to care for the individual. The Hearts of Valor program provides support specifically for the caregivers of our wounded warriors.

Salute, Inc. – Salute, Inc., works to raise awareness of the sacrifice of military families while also providing emotional and financial support, specifically to those who are struggling under the reality of a lengthy deployment.

Our Military Kids – Spouses of deployed National Guard and Reserve members can use grants from Our Military Kids to pay for children’s activities, such as sports and music lessons, that they otherwise could not afford.

Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts Program – This program provides career development and assistance to spouses of military members who are pursuing degrees, certifications or licensure in their career field.
