Please email Sarena Deglin sarena.deglin@lib.de.us at DDL first! But if it is a time crunch this would be the next best place to turn. Some of it won't apply because it involves statewide details that DDL handles on your behalf.

How to Request use of the Zoom Public account

DDL has acquired two additional Pro level Zoom licenses for DLC to share.  As one of the first libraries to express interest in using the Zoom platform for virtual programming, we appreciate your assistance to pilot the Zoom license reservation process.  Please forward this information to those staff members who have virtual programming responsibilities.

LibCal will be used to manage Zoom reservations.  You will need to have several pieces of information to complete the reservation:

  • Date and time of program
  • Length of program
  • Brief program description
  • Intended audience

Please allow 24 to 72 hours for your request to be reviewed and finalized.

Once the request has been finalized, your library will need to have the Zoom desktop client downloaded.
If your staff would like additional training please email zoom@lib.de.us to schedule a Zoom training session.

Imagine Your Story

Science can “STEM” from the stories told in fairy tales, myths, and fantasy. Learn about the different genre as you use your problem-solving skills.  Design and build a tower for Rapunzel’s hair and a new bridge to help the three Billy Goats get to the other side of the river.  In a sorting activity, learn about the mythical creatures/monsters that Odysseus encountered on his journey home after the Trojan War. You will also put your imagination to work as you write your own silly fantasy SciFi story using a “Mad-Lib” format.  Add some artwork to your story or solution and STEM turns to STEAM!!
