Congressional agencies are open, including:
Department of Agriculture - "This website will not be updated during a lapse in federal funding. Content on this website will not be current or maintained until funding issues have been resolved."
The Farm Service Agency office in Georgetown, shuttered since the federal government shutdown began in December, will open for three days in the next week to help farmers with limited services. That office, at 21315 Berlin Road, will be open Thursday, Friday and Tuesday, Jan. 22, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced. Consumer Product Safety Commission - closed
Federal Communications Commission - The FCC suspended most operations.
Federal Election Commission - closed

National Archives - "Due to the shutdown of the Federal Government, National Archives facilities are closed, websites and social media are not being updated or monitored, and activities are canceled, with the following exceptions which remain open and operational: Federal Records Centers, Federal Register, the Ronald Reagan Museum, and the George W. Bush Museum."
Security and Exchange Commission - closed. "The agency will have a very limited number of staff members available to respond to emergency situations involving market integrity and investor protection, including law enforcement."
Smithsonian Museums - All Smithsonian Museums and The National Zoo are closed.
