Current Directions in Psychological Science publishes reviews by leading experts covering all of scientific psychology and its applications. Each issue of Current Directions features a diverse mix of reports on various topics such as language, memory and cognition, development, the neural basis of behavior and emotions, various aspects of psychopathology, and theory of mind. These articles allow readers to stay apprised of important developments across subfields beyond their areas of expertise and bodies of research they might not otherwise be aware of.

Journal of Infection Prevention

Journal of Infection Prevention is a bi-monthly peer-reviewed publication containing a wide range of articles, including original primary research studies, qualitative and quantitative studies, reviews of the evidence on various topics, practice development project reports, guidelines for practice, case studies, overviews of infectious diseases and their causative organisms, audit and surveillance studies/projects, and outbreak reports.

The Journal of School Nursing

As the official research publication of the National Association of School Nurses (www.nasn.org), The Journal of School Nursing (JOSN) provides a bimonthly peer-reviewed forum for improving the health of school children and the health of the school community. The JOSN seeks to engage a broad range of clinicians, scholars and community leaders in an ongoing exchange of information through scholarly articles, including original research, brief research reports, literature reviews, evidenced-based innovations in clinical practice or policy, and letters to the editor. 

NASN School Nurse

The NASN School Nurse is a peer-reviewed clinical resource journal of the National Association of School Nurses and is published in January, March, May, July, September, and November. The mission of the NASN School Nurse is to advance the practice of school nursing through the publishing of evidence-based, clinical resource articles and providing information on emerging issues, innovation in school health, and organizational resources of interest to our members.

Nursing Ethics

Nursing Ethics takes a practical approach to this complex subject and relates each topic to the working environment. The articles on ethical and legal issues are written in a comprehensible style and official documents are analyzed in a user-friendly way. The international Editorial Board ensures the selection of a wide range of high quality articles of global significance.

Professional School Counseling

Professional School Counseling, the flagship journal of the American School Counselor Association, is a rigorous peer-reviewed journal that publishes high-quality manuscripts on theory, research and best practices for the profession. Also explored are techniques, materials and ideas to assist school counselors and related practitioners at all levels in their professional development. The journal's foci strengthen the bonds among school counselors and help maintain a shared awareness of the roles, problems and progress of school counseling across various settings and levels.

Psychological Science in the Public Interest

Psychological Science in the Public Interest (PSPI) is a unique journal featuring comprehensive and compelling reviews of issues that are of direct relevance to the general public. These reviews are written by blue ribbon teams of specialists representing a range of viewpoints, and are intended to assess the current state-of-the-science with regard to the topic. Among other things, PSPI reports have challenged the validity of the Rorschach and other projective tests; have explored how to keep the aging brain sharp; and have documented problems with the current state of clinical psychology. PSPI reports are regularly featured in Scientific American Mind and are typically covered in a variety of other major media outlets.

Public Health Reports

The journal focuses on such topics as disease surveillance, infectious and chronic diseases, occupational disease and injury, immunization, health disparities, substance use disorders, tobacco use, and many other key and emerging public health concerns. In addition to its 6 regular issues, PHR produces supplemental issues several times per year, focusing on specific topics of interest to its readership. The journal's contributors are on the front lines of public health and present their work in a readable and accessible format.
